Judge Reynolds’ life story is rooted in family, hard work, and service. As the tenth of eleven children, he grew up in a home where responsibility, faith, and community weren’t just values — they were a way of life. From an early age, he learned the importance of earning his way, working in an orchard, running a paper route, and helping in his school cafeteria.

Adding to that work ethic was a truly global upbringing. Judge Reynolds spent part of his childhood and youth living in many countries — Scotland, Israel, Argentina, and the United States — experiences that gave him a lasting appreciation for diverse communities, cultures, and perspectives.  He continued that desire to serve when in college he took a break, raised money, and took 15 friends to work with Habitat for Humanity International to help build homes in El Salvador after devastating earthquakes hit that country.

A Legal Career Built on Excellence and Real-World Experience

Judge Reynolds’ legal journey began in the federal courts, where he worked as a clerk and gained invaluable early exposure to the justice system. During this formative period, he had the honor of interning for Judge Lloyd D. George, the esteemed jurist for whom the Las Vegas courthouse is named. He later served as a clerk for Chief Judge Roger L. Hunt, further strengthening the foundation of a career defined by precision, discipline, and integrity.

Judge Reynolds went on to become a seasoned litigator at one of Nevada’s premier law firms, where he focused on complex commercial litigation. Over the course of his career, he has worked on cases spanning the full spectrum of the American legal system — including matters before the United States Supreme Court, the 9th, 10th, and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeals, the Federal Circuit, the Nevada Supreme Court, and courts across Nevada at every level, including state, municipal, and justice courts.

A Reputation for Tough Cases — and Fair Outcomes

What sets Judge Reynolds apart is the breadth of his experience and the diversity of the cases he has handled.

On one end, he has represented individuals and small business owners in pro bono cases, helping people fight for fairness — including contract disputes against wealthy opponents and protective order cases for those experiencing domestic abuse.

On the other end, he has successfully led litigation involving hundreds of parties and tens of millions of dollars, including high-stakes matters against multi-billion-dollar international organizations and victories against some of the world’s largest law firms in cases valued in the hundreds of millions.

In addition to private practice, Judge Reynolds served as General Counsel for a Nevada-based small business — a role that took him through South America and expanded his understanding of business, leadership, and practical problem-solving beyond the courtroom.

Community-Focused, Family-Driven

Outside of his legal career, Judge Reynolds is deeply committed to the community he calls home. He has volunteered as a coach for youth sports — including basketball, soccer, tennis, and more — demonstrating the same steady leadership and patience that define his approach to public service.

Judge Reynolds is married to a dedicated OB/GYN, and together they are raising four children, all actively engaged in sports, arts, and music. Family remains central to his life — not as a talking point, but as a lived reality.

Faith, Service, and Cultural Connection

Judge Reynolds is also active in his faith and inter-faith communities, and his commitment to service extends well beyond the courtroom. Fluent in Spanish, he spent two years in Argentina on a church mission — an experience that deepened his appreciation for language, culture, and the importance of connecting with people where they are.
